I was born a writer from my first journal at just nine years old I began writing poetry and short stories whenever I had time. It wasn’t until I moved away from home at eighteen from California to Maryland that I discovered my passion for writing. I would walk through the forest outside my home every day observing the world around me and I fell in love with it. It was on one of these walks that came up with what would be the first character I would create in the universe of the spiritborn.

And the rest they say is history.

I believe in three things very strongly:

Everybody has an art. Whether it be drawing, painting, bottle cap collecting, writing, or anything else you can think of. If it is something that you do that brings joy to your life, that is your art.

Emotional loading. I believe life is a process of loading and unloading yourself emotionally and as art imitates life so does art follow this process. I believe to truly get the best out of your art you must be emotionally invested in it.

Lastly, I believe in sharing your story. A good story can be told in many ways; art, writing, music, or even interpretative dance to say a few. Furthermore, I believe those stories deserve to be told which is partly why I created this blog. it is not only a place for me to speak on my experiences as a writer and a person, but for you to share our story as well I want this to be a place for people worldwide to connect and talk to each other as friends and share in their experiences.
